Previous Workshops on Advanced Fluorescence Methods
The Workshop for Advanced Concepts in Fluorescence Imaging and Spectroscopy Techniques
is a bianual meeting organized by the Institute of Physical Chemistry, the Center for NanoScience (CeNS) at LMU Munich and other institutions.
The workshop consists of three parts:
- Advanced theoretical lectures given by the different experts in the field including
- Prof. Enrico Gratton (University of California, Irvine),
- Prof. Michelle Digman (University of California, Irvine),
- Prof. Jochen Müller (University of Minnesota),
- Prof. Claus Seidel (University of Düsseldorf),
- Prof. Paul W. Wiseman (McGill University), and
- Prof. Don C. Lamb (Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität, Munich)
- Computer based training on data analysis and simulations, that support the theoretical background given during the lectures
- Hands-on laboratory training using the fluorescence microscopy instrumentation of the LMU (limited availabilty, applications will be honored in order of arrival)
