We are an applied spectroscopy group developing advanced imaging and spectroscopy techniques to study transport phenomena and chemical processes in biological and functional materials. We employ a combination of optical methodologies, involving fluorescence based and label-free, nonlinear approaches to study unlabeled materials and their interaction with the surrounding environment with high spatial resolution. Our research focuses on the uptake and transport mechanism in porous materials and cells at the molecular and particle level.
