News from the Institute for Chemical Epigenetics (ICEM)

Institute for Chemical Epigenetics Munich ICEM is arousing interest in Prime Time News even before its completion.

We are pleased that the Institute for Chemical Epigenetics Munich ICEM is arousing interest in Prime Time News even before its completion.

The new ICEM research building for our chemistry and pharmacy faculty is not supposed to go into operation until the end of summer 2021. But due to the currently circulating corona virus mutants and the resulting need for sequencing, we have decided to help now.

With our combined forces, we were able to complete the premises within just 2 weeks so that the device could be flown in from California, customs cleared and put into operation as early as this week.

This was reported by the colleagues from Bayerischer Rundfunk with an article in the news, see links below.

We would like to take this opportunity to thank all those involved who made the fast, professional and unbureaucratic partial use of the sequencing department possible for the processing of various projects that resulted from the sequencing of the genomes of corona virus mutants.
