The admission to the bachelor degree program Pharmaceutical Sciences is locally restricted and only possible for the winter semester. The application has to be placed at the “Online-Portal der Studentenkanzlei”. Submission deadline is the 15th July for winter semester and the 15th January for summer semester (preclusive time limit).
Lateral entry: if you like to start the Bachelor of Pharmaceutical Sciences in a higher semester, you will need the “Semesteranrechnungsbescheid” in which all your study load of your former degree program will be recalculated into semesters. The credit transfer is executed by the Dean of the Department of Pharmacy. Admission is possible for the summer and winter semester. The application has to be placed at the “Online-Portal der Studentenkanzlei”. Precondition for the admission to the master program of Pharmaceutical Sciences is the proof of the entrance requirement for higher education and a qualifying degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences or related field consisting of at least 6 semesters. Additional preconditions can be found in the “Satzung über die Eignungsfeststellung” (link) for the master program of Pharmaceutical Sciences at the LMU in the current version (see below). Proof of the English language has to be at least the level mentioned in “§ 87 Abs. 6 der Schulordnung für Gymnasien in Bayern (Gymnasialschulordnung- GSO)”, also in the current version.
The master program Pharmaceutical Sciences can only be started in winter semester. The applicant has to take part in a special assessment procedure. For the application an Abitur certificate, a CV and a certified copy of the degree/ a topical transcript of records (due to the “Änderungssatzung” of 27th May 2011, a questionnaire and letter of motivation is no longer necessary).
