Placement test

There are no numerical restrictions to admission to either the bachelor program "Chemistry and Biochemistry" or the master programs "Chemistry" and "Biochemistry" at the LMU. However, in all three programs, students must prove that they qualify for admission (see Point II under Hochschulzugang ).

Determining a student's qualification Bewerbung is part of the application process, which must be completed by the set deadline. When your application materials have been checked according to the Qualification Bylaws ( efv_satzung_178.pdf (34 kByte) ) you will be notified within about three weeks after the application deadline. In case of rejection, you may reapply for admission before the next deadline.


Eligibility for admission to the Master's programs in chemistry and biochemistry

The application process Bewerbung also applies to students wishing to enter the master's programs. In accordance with the Examination Regulations (Prüfungsordnungen) , applicants must have a cumulative bachelor's grade better than 2,5 to apply.
