Dr. Aurelie Dupont
Research projects
The common point of my different projects and thus the main focus of my ressearch is about 3D tracking.
I am interested in the Foamy virus replication cycle which is studied by the tracking of fluorescent viruses from 3D movies acquired on a spinning-disk microscope.
I am also using and improving an original 3D tracking microscope which allows the tracking in real-time of single fluorescent particles with nanometer and millisecond accuracy. This setup is applied to several biological questions such as single virus tracking in living cells during their infection.
