The computer-operating group supports all students and employees. We offer the following services (subject to the availability of personnel):
- Support in network, software and hardware questions on Windows, Linux and UNIX operating systems
- Setup of web pages for the faculty's web server, including database handling
- Computer installation and advice on hardware purchase
- Systems programming (Shell scripts, etc) and administration
- Network administration
- Security consulting
We additionally support all local network managers regarding their IT problems and run the faculty's internal administrative network (with firewalls).
